American Financial Group is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. is engaged in property and casualty insurance. Co. operates in four segments: Property and Casualty Insurance, which covers property and transportation (inland and ocean marine, agricultural-related and commercial automobile), specialty casualty (executive and professional liability, umbrella and excess liability, general liability, targeted programs and worker's compensation) and specialty financial (fidelity and surety, and lease and loan services); Annuity, which sells fixed and fixed-indexed annuities in the related markets; Run-off long-term care and life; and Other, which includes commercial real estate.
