Airgas is a distributor of industrial, medical and specialty gases, and hardgoods, such as welding equipment and supplies. Co. is a producer of atmospheric gases, carbon dioxide, dry ice and nitrous oxide, and a distributor of refrigerants, ammonia products and process chemicals. Co. also provides supply chain management services, and product and process technical support. Co. has two segments: Distribution, which engages in the distribution of industrial and medical gases and hardgoods, and in the production of gases; and All Other Operations, which consists of six business units which manufacture and/or distribute carbon dioxide, dry ice, nitrous oxide, ammonia and refrigerant gases.
