Apollo Commercial Real Estate Finance is a real estate investment trust that primarily originates, acquires, invests in and manages performing commercial first mortgage loans, commercial mortgage-backed securities, mezzanine financings and other commercial real estate-related debt investments. These asset classes are referred to as Co.'s target assets. Co. is externally managed and advised by ACREFI Management, LLC, an indirect subsidiary of Apollo Global Management, LLC, which is an alternative investment manager with an investment approach in private equity, capital markets and real estate.
