Euroseas is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. is engaged in the provision of worldwide ocean-going transportation services. Co. owns and operates drybulk carriers that transport major bulks such as iron ore, coal and grains, and minor bulks such as bauxite, phosphate and fertilizers. Co. also owns and operates containerships and multipurpose vessels that transport dry and refrigerated containerized cargoes, mainly including manufactured products and perishables. As of Apr 25 2013, Co.'s fleet consisted of five drybulk carriers (comprised of four Panamax drybulk carriers and one Handymax drybulk carrier), nine containerships and one multipurpose vessel.
