IXYS is a semiconductor company engaged in the development, manufacture and marketing of power semiconductors, mixed signal integrated circuits (ICs), application specific integrated circuits, microcontrollers, systems and radio frequency (RF) power semiconductors. Co.'s power semiconductors are used primarily in controlling energy in motor drives, power conversion including uninterruptible power supplies and switch mode power supplies, and medical electronics. Co.'s ICs include solid state relays for telecommunications applications and power management and control ICs, and microcontrollers such as embedded flash microcontrollers and eight-bit microcontrollers and microprocessors.
