Vail Resorts is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co.'s operations are grouped into three segments: Mountain, which operates ski resort properties and provides ancillary services primarily including ski school, dining and retail/rental operations; Lodging, which owns and/or manages hotels under its RockResorts brand, other lodging properties, a number of condominiums located in proximity to its ski resorts, certain National Park Service concessionaire properties including Grand Teton Lodge Company, a resort ground transportation company (Colorado Mountain Express), and golf courses; and Real Estate, which owns and develops real estate in and around its resort communities.
