Otter Tail is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. has five segments: Electric, which produces, transmits, distributes and sells electric energy; Wind Energy, which is engaged in the production of wind towers; Manufacturing, which consists of contract machining, metal parts stamping and fabrication, and production of waterfront equipment, material and handling trays and horticultural containers; Construction, which is engaged in residential, commercial and industrial electric contracting and construction of fiber optic and electric distribution systems, water, wastewater and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems; and Plastics, which produces polyvinyl chloride pipe.
