Regis franchises and owns hair care salons. The main services supplied by the salons are haircutting and styling (including shampooing and conditioning) and hair coloring. Salons also sell various hair care and other beauty products. Co.'s segments are: Franchise salons, which operates in the U.S., Puerto Rico and Canada and includes the Supercuts, SmartStyle, Cost Cutters, First Choice Haircutters, Roosters and Magicuts concepts; and Company-owned salons, which located in strip center locations and Walmart and provide hair care and beauty services and retail products and includes the SmartStyle, Supercuts, Cost Cutters trade names in the U.S. and Canada.
