Total System Services provides payment services to financial and nonfinancial institutions. Co. operates in three segments: North America Services, which serves clients in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean; International Services, which serves clients in Europe, India, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and Brazil; and Merchant Services, which provides merchant services and related services, such as processing services, related systems and integrated support services to merchant acquirers and merchants in the U.S. Other services provided by Co. include communications to cardholders, information verification associated with granting credit, debt collection, and customer service.
