Union First Market Bankshares is a bank holding company. Through its community bank subsidiary, Union First Market Bank (the Bank), Co. provides loan, deposit, investment, and trust services to retail and commercial customers throughout its retail locations in Virginia. In addition, the Bank issues credit cards and delivers automated teller machine services; provides internet banking services; online bill payment; and private banking and trust services. Co. also provides a variety of mortgage loan products, principally in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland and the Washington D.C. area. At Dec 31 2011, Co. had total assets of $3.91 billion and total deposits of $3.18 billion.
