Looking at the underlying holdings of the ETFs in our coverage universe at ETF Channel, we have compared the trading price of each holding against the average analyst 12-month forward target price, and computed the weighted average implied analyst target price for the ETF itself. For the iShares S&P Small-Cap 600 Value ETF (NYSE:IJS), we found that the implied analyst target price for the ETF based upon its underlying holdings is $110.86 per unit. With IJS trading at a recent price near $98.91 per unit, that means that analysts see 12.08% upside for this ETF looking through to the average analyst targets of the underlying holdings. Three of IJS's underlying holdings with notable upside to their analyst target prices are Bristow Group Inc (NYSE:VTOL), Core Laboratories Inc (NYSE:CLB), and Hain Celestial Group Inc (NASDAQ:HAIN). Although VTOL has traded at a recent price of $26.21/share, the average analyst target is 52.61% higher at $40.00/share. Similarly, CLB has 31.97% upside from the recent share price of $15.61 if the average analyst target price of $20.60/share is reached, and analysts on average are expecting HAIN to reach a target price of $14.54/share, which is 31.04% above the recent price of $11.10.
