SJT Dividend History & Description — San Juan Basin Royalty Trust
The San Juan Basin Royalty Trust is an express trust created by the San Juan Basin Royalty Trust Indenture, between Southland Royalty Company (Southland) and The Fort Worth National Bank. Southland conveyed to the Trust a 75% net overriding royalty interest that burdens certain of Southland's oil and natural gas interests (the Subject Interests) in properties located in the San Juan Basin of northwestern New Mexico. Hilcorp San Juan L.P. is the operator of the majority of the Subject Interests.
